Solder Ring Slip Coupling
Solder slip couplings contain a ring of lead-free solder inside each
capillary, this is the raised bump on each soldering end of the fitting. When
heat is applied using a blowtorch, the solder ring inside the fitting becomes
molten and is released into the gap between the copper tube and the solder
fitting which results in a strong, watertight joint.
