Chrome Isolating Valves

This chrome-plated compression isolation valve
from Valuing can be used to temporarily stop the supply of water from a fitting
to enable repairs, such as changing a tap, to be carried out without needing to
turn off the mains. The isolating valve is activated by a simple quarter turn
with a screwdriver. Used in hot or cold water
systems to isolate part of the system: avoids the need to drain down the whole
system to carry out work.
